We delivery across the UK.Β  We only use Royal Mail for deliveries as they provide the most reliable service, whilst providing value for money.

Delivery Charges are fixed prices.Β  They don't increase based on order weight or delivery postcode.

Royal Mail 48 (2-3days) p&p is only Β£3.99.

Royal Mail 24 (1-2 days) P&P is only Β£4.99.

Spend over Β£30+ and P&P is totally FREE!

Remember, all orders placed before 12pm (Mon-Fri, excluding public holidays) are picked, packed and dispatched the same day,


We offer a personal same day (order before 12pm) delivery service, free of charge, to the local area. Selected DH, NE, SR & TS Postcodes.

At the quickest, same day - at the longest 3 days.

Sorry if that seems a ridiculous answer, but it all depends.

If you are local to Peterlee, County Durham & North East then delivery will be same day.

And for those that live outside the North East of England, Royal Mail aim to deliver next day for RM24. For RM48 the aim is within 48 hours of receiving your parcel (sometimes it takes 3 days).

*Please note, delivery timescales are not guaranteed or warranted. Due to the current COVID19 restrictions delays are possible due to Royal Mail staffing issues.

All sweets are packed into heat sealed pouched.Β  These are plastic pouches which prevent any moisture or dirt getting into the sweets.Β  These are sealed at the top opening by using an impulse heat sealer, which create a permanent tamper proof seal.

Once opened you can then also reseal pouches over and over (to keep your treat nice & fresh) by using the push seal found on every pouch.

For delivery;

  • Local orders are packaged into individual mailing boxes for delivery to your door.
  • Orders dispatched by Royal Mail. Pouches are wrapped inside of Kraft paper to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. They are then packaged carefully within bubble wrap lined mailing boxes, to prevent any water damage.

Orders received before 12pm Mon-Fri are picked & packed the same day.

For local deliveries orders are packed and delivered Monday - Saturday after 12pm.

For delivery via Royal Mail / Courier orders are packed and dispatched Monday - Friday.

*We do not process any orders on Sundays and Bank Holidays.Β  Orders received on these days will be processed the next working day.

That's not a problem, we understand how busy life is.Β  You've got more important things to be doing than sitting waiting for a delivery.

Instead you can nominate a "safe place" or preferred neighbour for your delivery.Β  At checkout please pop your preference into the notes section.

This will be used for local deliveries or passed onto Royal Mail via the postage label, so your local postie know where is best to leave your parcel. *Please note, we nor Royal Mail will leave your order in an obvious place.Β  Places such as on the front step or in the outside bin will not be appropriate.


We accept a wide range of payment methods!

Through the website we accept all Credit & Debit cards along with PayPal payments.Β  You can pay via card without needing a PayPal account.

All payments are processed via PayPal.Β  We do not ever see, store or process your payment card details.Β  This is all carried out by PayPal on there own secure systems.

For local same day deliveries we also accept CASH UPON DELIVERY.

All payment are processed as part of the checkout process.Β  Card payments will be taken from your chosen card instantly.

For local deliveries selecting CASH at the checkout, these will be collected upon delivery.

ALL card payments are processed by PayPal.Β  This is done by them on their own secure systems away from our website.Β  We do not at any time have the ability to see, store or process your payment card details.

PayPal are probably the most well known payment company in the world. They've been doing it a long time and know what they are doing when it comes to security.

Yes, of course! However, this can only be done before orders are dispatched. You can do this by logging into your account on our website or dropping us an email at or via Facebook messenger.

Unfortunately, once orders have been dispatched there is no way to cancel or change them.

No, not within the order when it is dispatched.Β  All that will be included is a packing slip, which is used while we prepare your order.Β  It will not include any prices or payment information.Β  Extra handy if buying as a gift to be delivered directly to their address.

Your receipt will be emailed to you instantly via email when your order is received.Β  If you require a detailed invoice/receipt for business expense purposes for example, please drop us an email and we will arrange this.

That’s us. Officially we are Sweet Sensations (Retail) Limited. We are a registered limited company (no. 12846425).

Now the official part is out of the way. We are a family business based in the North East. Two parents who are working to provide a better future for our children.Β  Out two young daughters are the real reason we started Sweet Sensations. Our dreams are starting to become a reality of not just work, work, work but to also have the ability to spend quality time with our children.

Also we a sweet obsessed! Like, really obsessed about sweets. We found a gap in the market, of which we felt did not serve people well enough when it came to custom pick n mix sweets delivered directly to your door. As a result Sweet Sensations as we know it now was born!
